Once again, Miami will be playing host to The North American Bitcoin Conference, as it returns to the city for the seventh consecutive year. Presented by Keynote, the annual North American Bitcoin Conference will take place next week, January 15-17, at the James L. Knight Center in downtown Miami. As in previous years, the event will feature a trailblazing group of exhibitors complemented by a series of onstage sessions delivered by influential figures in the space.
Last remaining tickets for this event are available at www.BTCMiami.com/Tickets. Payment will be accepted in both fiat and cryptocurrency.
A jam-packed agenda offers something for everyone in the industry, from global brands and policy groups to investment firms and startups. After a welcome address by Miami Mayor Francis X. Suarez kicks off the proceedings, participants will get down to business as main stage presentations get underway.
A sampling of presentations includes Bobby Lee, founder and CEO of Ballet, who will discuss ‘How to Make Cryptocurrency More Accessible’. Lee, founder of China’s first bitcoin exchange, BTCC, has launched a hardware wallet that supports several cryptocurrencies. James Putra of TradeStation will talk about ‘Shifting from Digital Commerce to Connected Commerce, Securely’. His company is known for its professional trading platform, which allows users to design, test, optimize, monitor and automate their own equity, options and futures trading strategies.
The conference includes other presentations by Craig Sellars, Dawn Newton and Gabriel Abed. Sellars is a co-founder of Tether, which evolved from the first known stablecoin. Newton is a technology-startup veteran who was recently named one of LA’s ‘Women of Influence’ by Business Journal and a ‘Power Woman in FinTech’ by InnoTribe. Abed, recognized as the Caribbean’s leading authority on digital currencies, is co-founder and CEO of Bitt Inc., a fintech that offers financial solutions to the region’s unbanked community.
Mayor Suarez is also slated to make a second appearance to promote his city as a center for LATAM/U.S. collaboration, alongside Eryka Gemma of Bitcoin Center Miami.
The conference agenda includes ample opportunities to network, starting with the launch event on Wednesday, January 15, at the Clevelander on South Beach. On Thursday, January 16, at 6:00 p.m., attendees are again invited for networking and drinks at the Wharf on North River Drive.
